Judging Process Deadline for all the entries is the 7 June 2024.
The awards are decided by our expert panel of twelve judges.
Once the submission deadline is closed, the judges will have access to the entries online and they will judge independently based on the information provided within the submission.
At the end of the judging process, the scores from the judges are collated and those with the highest scores will be shortlisted as finalists. The entry with the highest score will be the winner. If there is a joint winner, the Head Judge, Martin Polland, and Editor of Highways magazine, Dominic Browne, will review the entries to decide the ultimate winners. Submissions always remain confidential.
There is a Summary section within the entry form and this section is the only part of the submission which will be made public. The summary will be uploaded to the Highways Awards website finalist page and maybe used for other marketing purposes. This is so that there is general information available about each of the projects or individuals that have been shortlisted.
Finalists will be notified mid-July and a public announcement of the finalists will be made in Highways magazine and on the Highways Awards and Event website in early August.
