Jonny Moran

After completing his Civil Engineering degree at the University of Strathclyde in 1999, Jonny joined Glasgow City Council, gaining Chartered Engineer status in 2005. In 2006, Jonny joined Transport Scotland, the national transport agency. Since then he has undertaken various roles across a range of topics, including the development and roll out of the motorway Trunk Road Incident Support Service and managing the agency's Landslide Strategy, including overseeing the response to numerous events across the network. Following six years as the Operating Company Manager (responsible for all trunk road term maintenance contracts), in 2021 Jonny took up the role of Head of Operations, responsible for Road Safety (policy and delivery), ITS and Development Management/planning applications.
