Martin Polland

Martin is currently the President of the Institute of Highway Engineers and currently mid-term through his two-year Presidential term of office. Martin has been a member of the Institute of Highway Engineers for some 25 years and previously chaired the Scottish Branch for a number of years. Martin performed the role of the role of Head Judge for the previous 2022 Highways Awards. He has 37 years' experience in engineering and has served in the highways sector for the majority of that term. Martin is the Network Manager North for Transport Scotland and looks after the day to day running of Trunk Road activities from around Stirling to the very top of Scotland.
