To our nation’s Highways Heroes…

Highways Awards 2021 once again recognised and rewarded the amazing achievements of the sector including recent entrants and one of its longest-serving stalwarts - see all the winners and highly commended here. You can also view your interactive Highways Awards 2021 Review document online here complete with videos of all the winners!

The gala dinner - which took place on 20th October - was admirably hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke, and marked a welcome return to the Royal Lancaster London.

We would like to congratulate all the winners and highly commended for 2021 along with every finalist for all their amazing achievements. We'd also like to thank every single guest for providing their negative COVID-19 test results on the door so efficiently and for helping to keep everyone safe throughout the celebrations (see highlights video below!).

Transport Network and Highways magazine editor Dominic Browne said: 'It was brilliant to bring the highways community back together again and give much-deserved recognition to all their hard work. Last year the sector showed leadership in the face of adversity, this year we have shown inspiration in the face of opportunity.'

The Highways Awards recognises, rewards and celebrates the sector annually with a black tie gala dinner attended by over 500 key industry professionals. The date and venue for the 2022 awards will be posted shortly and online nominations will begin again from spring 2022.
